Personal Experience

Simon graduated from the University of Bristol in 2003 with a degree in Accounting & Finance and began his career at Deloitte LLP, qualifying as a chartered accountant. At Deloitte, he specialized in corporate finance, managing AIM IPOs, preparing Long-form and Accountants Reports, Working Capital Reports, and acquisition due diligence. Starting in the energy trading sector, he transitioned to the mining industry, where he built a successful career. As a founding director and Financial Director of Paragon Diamonds Ltd from 2010 to 2017, Simon managed the IPO process and raised £9 million in equity funding. He also served as CFO of Horizonte Minerals and Non-Executive Director at Equatorial Mining & Exploration. Simon brings extensive expertise in public markets, including reverse takeovers, IPOs, and secondary fundraising, thriving in high-pressure, dynamic environments characteristic of start-up and growth phases of businesses. Simon does not hold any shares in the company.
